Dryer

Dryer

The AC dryer (or receiver-drier) removes moisture, debris, and contaminants from the refrigerant before it circulates through the cooling system. It contains desiccant material that absorbs moisture, preventing internal corrosion and protecting the expansion valve and evaporator from ice formation. Over time, dryers become saturated or contaminated, especially after leaks or compressor failure. With Porza’s advanced search tools, you can easily find the correct AC dryer using your license plate, VIN, make, model, or type.

Porza supplies high efficiency dryers constructed with corrosion resistant housings, high capacity desiccant packs, and precision filtration screens. These dryers ensure clean, dry refrigerant flow and protect the entire AC system from moisture-related damage. Proper drying significantly extends the life of the compressor and other components.

Dryers vary in design, including receiver-drier, accumulator, and integrated condenser-mounted types. Replacing the dryer is mandatory after any system opening or component replacement to maintain proper AC performance and reliability. Porza guarantees perfect fitment and superior moisture protection.
